Use this vibrant medium to create visually stunning landscapes. Composition atmosphere, atmospheric and aerial perspective as well as light, shadow, value, composition and color will be covered. Explore the pastel medium in different ways for different effects. We will work outside, or depending on the weather you can bring sketches or photographs to work from. Learn what to extract from a photograph and what not to use. Demonstration and individual attention will be given.
Annette Hanna's Bio
PSA, AAPL portraitist, Annette studied at the Art
Students League with John Sanden, Daniel Greene
and Burt Silverman. She has won numerous awards
in pastel and oil, including four Gold Medals in
Painting. Author of book on portraiture and featured
in September 1999 American Artist magazine, the
Best in Pastels II, 2002 Portrait Highlights and pastel
Artist International.
